Clariobscura

Clariobscura was born from the successive meeting of four musicians with rich and sometimes tumultuous life stories. Faustine on vocals, Kévin on bass, guitar and backing vocals, Robin on guitar, and Simon on drums bring their individual worlds together to create a northern French quartet with a strong and distinctive identity.

Clariobscura fuels the imagination and carries the listener into a musical world tinged with hope, while never concealing the sense of lucidity that lies beneath it. Driven by airy, atmospheric sounds, sometimes heavier and more abrasive, the band’s incisive lyrics take on their full emotional depth. Often haunting, the melodies explore the darker sides of humanity while remaining deeply rooted in reality.

At the crossroads of post-rock and progressive metal influences, Clariobscura creates sensitive, deeply immersive music, where sonic intensity meets emotional fragility. A sincere and unadorned musical experience, inviting the listener both to look inward and to let go.
